Our Story
Learn. Evolve. Excel.
Lenicle started as a tech school in Lagos, Nigeria. To teach our own students well we built what a school needs: lessons and tests online, live class schedules, cohorts, payments in parts, and certificates anyone can verify.
Other teachers needed the same things. So we opened it up. Today any school, training centre or tutor can open an academy on Lenicle and teach what they know, in any field. Our own school carries on as Lenicle Academy, one academy among the others.
Who We Are
Lenicle is a learning platform based in Lagos, Nigeria. Academies use it to publish their programs, enroll students, run classes and get paid. Students use it to find a program, pay for it, learn and earn a certificate.
We do not teach every program ourselves. Each program belongs to the academy that created it, and that academy does the teaching. We keep everything around the teaching organised and working.
We are also still teachers. Lenicle Academy, our own school, teaches technology programs online and at our centre in Lagos, which is how we know what an academy needs from a platform.
What We Do
For students
One place to find programs from many academies. Learn at your own pace, join live online classes or attend in person, pay in parts where the academy allows it, and finish with a certificate anyone can check.
For academies and tutors
Open an academy for free and publish your programs. We organise your modules and lessons, cohorts and class schedule, enrollments, payments, payouts and certificates, so your time goes into teaching. There is no monthly fee: we earn a small commission when you make a sale.
Lenicle Academy
Our own school. It teaches web development, product design, data analysis, cybersecurity and more, online and at our Lagos centre, and follows the same rules as every other academy on the platform.
Lenicle Studio
Our services arm builds software, websites and digital systems for businesses, and connects employers with people trained at Lenicle Academy.
Our Purpose
Make teaching easier to start: Anyone with something worth teaching should be able to open an academy in minutes, without building a website or a payment system first.
Make learning easier to reach: Students choose how they learn and how they pay, and can find good programs in one place.
Keep it fair: Clear prices for students, a clear commission for academies, and a process both sides can trust when something goes wrong.
Practical skills first: We care about what a student can do at the end of a program, not only what they watched.
How We Keep It Trustworthy
Verified academies
An academy can ask us to check who is behind it. Those that pass show a verified badge next to their name.
Protected payments
Students pay through a licensed payment processor. An academy's earnings are held for a short time before release, so a refund is possible if something goes wrong.
A fair hearing
A student can report a problem with a program. The academy answers, and we decide after hearing both sides.
Certificates you can check
Every certificate carries a code. Anyone can confirm it is genuine on our verification page.
