Lenicle (Tech school in ipaja, Lagos Nigeria)

Terms and Conditions

Last updated: October 8, 2026

These terms apply to everyone who uses Lenicle: students, academies and the people who work in them, and anyone who earns through referrals or promo codes. By creating an account or using the platform you agree to them.

1. What Lenicle is

Lenicle is a platform where academies publish programs and students enroll in them. An academy can be a school, a training centre or one tutor. Each program belongs to the academy that publishes it, and that academy is responsible for what it teaches and for holding its classes. We provide the platform: program pages, lessons, cohorts and class schedules, payments, certificates and support. Lenicle Academy is our own academy and sells its programs on the same terms.

2. Your account

  • Give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done through your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you need a parent’s or guardian’s consent.
  • One person, one account. Do not open extra accounts to get around a limit, a suspension or a reward rule.

3. Using the platform

You agree not to:

  • share, copy or resell a program’s lessons or materials, or give others access to your account;
  • harass, threaten or mislead other people on the platform;
  • upload anything unlawful, or anything you do not have the right to use;
  • attempt to break, overload or get around the security of the platform;
  • cheat in tests, or claim a certificate for work that is not yours.

4. For students

Enrolling and paying. A program’s page shows the ways you can learn it and their prices, and any application fee. Payments are made through Paystack; we never see your card details. Where the academy allows it, you can pay part now and the balance later. See Paying for a program.

Access. Paying for a program gives you personal access to it for your own learning. If the academy later unpublishes, archives or removes the program, or if the program or its academy is suspended, you keep the access you paid for.

Problems and refunds. If something is wrong with a program, report it from the program in the portal. The academy can respond, and we decide after reading both sides. If you are refunded, you get back what you paid for that program less a refund processing fee (the payment processor’s fee on your original payment), your access to the program ends and any certificate for it is withdrawn. See Problems and refunds.

Certificates. A certificate is issued when you complete a program and can be checked by anyone on our certificate checker. It records that you completed the program; it is not a promise of a job or of any particular result.

5. For academies

Your programs. You are responsible for your programs: that the content is yours to use, that the description and prices are accurate, and that the classes you schedule are held. You decide what to teach and what it costs.

What we charge. Opening an academy is free and there is no monthly fee. We take a commission on each payment a student makes, and the payment processor’s fee comes out of your share. The commission is higher on a sale to a student who found a program you listed on Lenicle Discover, our Explore page, category pages and search. The rates that apply are the ones published in What we charge and Lenicle Discover when the student first enrolls with you.

Payouts. Students’ payments come to us first. Your share is held for a period after each sale and then released for you to withdraw to your bank account, as set out in When you get paid. Bank transfer fees on withdrawals come out of your balance.

Complaints and refunds. When a student reports a problem, the money not yet released for that student is held while we decide. If we refund the student, your share of that payment comes out of your balance, and we return our commission. If you have already withdrawn it, your balance can go below zero and your later sales cover it. See Complaints and refunds.

Public events. If you run a paid public event and cancel it, everyone who paid is refunded in full. Your share of those payments comes out of your balance, together with the payment processing fees, which cannot be recovered. See Public events.

Promo codes and promoters. A discount you give through a promo code, and anything a promoter earns from it, comes from your share of the sale.

Your team. You choose who works in your academy and what they can do. You are responsible for what the people you add do there.

Verification. The verified badge shows that we checked the documents you gave us. It is not an endorsement of your programs.

6. Referrals and promoters

If you earn through a referral link or as the promoter on a promo code, your earnings are worked out and paid as described in Referrals and promoters. An earning is reversed if the payment it came from is refunded. Referring yourself, or creating accounts to collect rewards, is not allowed, and we may cancel earnings made that way.

7. Content and ownership

  • An academy keeps ownership of the programs and materials it publishes. By publishing them it allows us to host, show and deliver them to its students and to list them on Lenicle.
  • A student may use a program’s materials for their own learning only.
  • What you submit as a student (answers, projects, reviews) stays yours. You allow us and the program’s academy to store and show it as needed to run the program.
  • The Lenicle name, logo and the platform itself belong to us.

8. Suspension and closing accounts

We can suspend a program, an academy or an account that breaks these terms, and remove content that does. What a suspension means and how to ask for it to be lifted is explained in Program and academy suspensions. You can stop using Lenicle and ask us to close your account at any time. Closing an account does not cancel money you owe, or undo sales and enrollments already made.

9. What we do not promise

We work to keep the platform available and correct, but it is provided as it is. Programs are created and taught by academies, and we do not guarantee their content, or that a program will lead to a job, an income or any other result. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the platform.

10. Privacy

How we collect and use personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the platform changes. The date at the top shows the latest version, and we will tell you about significant changes. Continuing to use Lenicle after a change means you accept the updated terms.
